Meet Shannon and Lyndsay, two friends sharing the real dirt on flower farming. Join us here every week to talk about business, growing techniques, and the real-life behind the scenes of what it takes to run a profitable flower farm. Dig in here.
Why I like it: Lindsay and Shannon are oh so entertaining and relatable to listen to. It’s like an intimate conversation between two lady boss flower farmers that you also want to have a drink with. They do a mix of interviewing other flower folks and chatting about their own flower farms and business experience. They just started Friday bonus episodes, “uncut” candid catch-ups about what’s going on in the field, business, and brain right now. (Loving these.)

Why I like it:
A diverse range of content, all grounded in the slow flowers movement. From sweet pea schools, to sustainable flower farms, to the art of paper flowers, it’s always a surprise and delight to discover what’s on the weekly show. Debra Prinzing’s voice also happens to be very grounding, which makes it an enjoyable listen.

5. The No-Till Flowers Podcast
A show about regenerative flower farming. Hosted by Jennie Love of Love ‘n Fresh Flowers, a flower farm in Philadelphia. Since then, she’s been consuming as much information as possible and experimenting a lot at her farm over the past three growing seasons to see what’s working and what’s not. Dig in here.
Why I like it: Jennie is an old-school no till expert and an absolute well-spring of knowledge. She gets into the nitty gritty of the why behind the what. She also has great advice and tips for organic ways to grow the healthiest plants possible, and has in depth conversations with flower and garden folks who know what they’re talking about. After all, there is nothing like hearing some solid behind-the-scenes of running and starting your own flower business to get me motivated to grow.

Why I like it: I am late to the party on this one, and it is one of the best new cut flower podcast discoveries this gardening season. You know when something just seems to blend together all of things you’re about? That is this show. A lot of botanicals and business with a dash of woo on the side. I feel so seen, met, expanded, all of the things. Highly recommend!
